Welcome to FinaFold. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FinaFold mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Waliyy Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
To use FinaFold, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
FinaFold is a mileage and expense tracking tool designed for gig economy workers and independent contractors. Key features include:
By enabling mileage tracking, you provide express consent for FinaFold to access your device's location data, including in the background when the app is not actively in use. This data is required to calculate distances for your mileage logs. You may disable this at any time in your device settings, though doing so will disable mileage tracking functionality.
FinaFold uses Plaid, Inc. ("Plaid") to connect to your financial institutions. By using the bank sync feature, you grant FinaFold and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy.
When you upload receipts, we use third-party services (such as AWS Textract) to process the images and extract text (vendor, amount, date). We store these images and the extracted data in our cloud database.
We may send push notifications to your device to alert you of detected trips, subscription status, or administrative reminders. You can opt out of these in your device settings.
FinaFold offers subscription-based access to premium features:
New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. You must provide valid payment information to start the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the then-current rate.
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide credits for partially used subscription periods, except as required by law or the specific policies of the App Store or Google Play.

Waliyy Holdings LLC owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the app interface, branding, and proprietary software. You retain ownership of the data you upload (your "User Content"), but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal data. By using FinaFold, you agree to the data practices described in that policy.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINAFOLD INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY TAX AUDIT, PENALTY, OR DEBT INCURRED BY YOU; OR (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of FinaFold after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
